Roehampton Radio: Open Mic took place on the Library Green on the Alton Estate in Roehampton on Saturday 16 May. It was a free public event hosted by Roehampton Radio as part of the Wandsworth Fringe 2015.

Hosted by special guest Fontelo, local residents were invited to showcase thier talents and share stories, history, poetry and discussions to a back-drop of diverse music selections. Tea, cake, drawing, writing and plenty of dancing enhanced the celebratory flavour of the event! Local youth group, Band from Sainsburys got the audience bopping, local historian Sydneywowed the audience with snippets of history about the estate and local resident Eddie Crome supplied us with a plentiful track listing. We were also delighted to be joined by Justine Greening MP who contributed to our 'What's Your Roehampton' storybox.
