Join us for the world's first fully inclusive push/run!

In our 40th year, we're looking for people to take part in Parallel London with us.

Parallel London takes place at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, Stratford, London on Sunday 3 September 2017. Choose the Parallel London event that suits you the best (they all happen on the same day) and raise money for Spare Tyre while you do it. Here's how:

Choose An Event

All of these take place on the 3 Sept:

  • 10km
  • 5km
  • 1km
  • Super Sensory 1km
  • 100m

Book Your Place

Get in touch, and let us know you'd like to take part. Places cost £25 (if you want a buddy with you to help, they can join in for free). If finding the £25 is tough for you, let us know–a generous donor has gifted us some places that we can give to you at no cost. We'll give you a registration code to use on the Parallel London website.

Set Up a Fundraising Page

Once you've registered with Parallel London, it's time to set up an online fundraising page. Do this via Virgin Money Giving and you can link up to Spare Tyre to see how much we're all raising together.

Raise Some Money!

Tell your friends and family about the amazing challenge you're taking part in–use Facebook, send emails, tell people at work–get everyone to donate if they can and remember that even £1 is really appreciated. Tell them about Spare Tyre and the work we do–ask us for any help if you need it.

Remember you can also hold events of your own to raise money–a cake sale, a clothes swap, a party–whatever suits you.

Don't Forget to Train!

You're going to be busy! As well as fundraising, you'll need to train for your event. Get out in the fresh air and walk, run or roll to help get into shape.

The Big Day – 3 Sept 2017

Come and find the Spare Tyre team, making sure you arrive in plenty of time for the start of your event. The Family Festival will run from 9am that day, with workshops, stalls, dancing and music.

Don't close your fundraising page straight away–lots more donations come in after you've finished your challenge. After a couple of weeks, we'll ask you to pass your donations over to us. And you're done! See you next year!

If you're really not a sporty person, but you still fancy a great day out, join us as a supporter to cheer the team on. Let us know you're coming along, and we'll arrange to meet you in the Park to enjoy the Festival together.
